a thought about cambodia
cambodia a land plenty
cambodia a land of pain
cambodia a land of memory
desparately needs rain

cambodia a land of memory
desparately needs rain

I don't think they have a problem with rain... it's a sub-tropical climate with jungles, forests and rivers. Cambodia is on the rebound, man!

good point Anonymous. The interesting thing about Cambodia is that there is in fact lots of water . . . but . . . . in the deep backcountry of Pursat province where we cycled and the neglected poor live, the last two rainy seasons have not brought the usual amout of rain and therefore the water table is low, the wells, while still able to provide water, are quite low.
